She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Purcell and Catherine Purcell (Dougherty); her husband Along; her children, Patricia Gibbons and Paul K. Gibbons; and her siblings, Mary Clare Purcell, Joseph Purcell, William Purcell, John Purcell, Catherine Purcell, Anne Purcell, Theresa Purcell (Rambo) and Edward Purcell.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas J. Gibbons of Norristown, Donna M. White (Kenneth) of Conshohocken, Kevin S. Gibbons (Lisa) of King, Karen T. and Christina L. Keller (Mark) of King; her sister Marie Hayes of Havertown; her grandchildren, Vanessa White, Kenneth White (Jennifer), Kristen Greenawalt (Christopher), Jennifer Keller, Lindsey Keller and Carolyn Keller; and her great grandchildren, Ashley Ryan, Hannah Ryan, Jocelyn White, Charlotte Greenawalt and Cameron Greenawalt.
