We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024, at the age of 62, Joanne M. Smith of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, born in Norristown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joanne departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joanne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joanne leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Granese and Concetta Granese (Gallo); and her sisters, Amelia and Diana Granese. She is survived by: her husband Thomas V. Smith Jr.; her daughters, Briana Granese (Jimmy) and Sarina Smith; her grandson Daniel Granese; and her brother Anthony Granese (Christine).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Huntington's Disease Youth Organization (HDYO) or the Huntington's Disease Society of America National Youth Alliance (HDSA NYA) to support youth impacted by Huntington's disease.
