Edward Paradis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we relay the news of the passing of Edward Theodore Paradis after a lengthy illness on November 12, 2019. Edward was born on January 21, 1935 in Fall River, Massachusetts, son to Achille and Yvonne and brother to 15 siblings.
Edward was a Korean War veteran, and he proudly served our country for ten years in the U.S. Navy. He commissioned and was awarded plank ownership for the aircraft carriers USS Enterprise – CRN-65 and USS Independence – CV-62. He also served on the aircraft carrier USS Kula Golf – CV-108.
Edward always said his greatest pride in life was his family and is succeeded by his loving and adored wife Helene (nee Harris) with whom he recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. He is also survived by his daughter Yvonne Tresnan--who he proudly referred to as "Love"-- her husband Frank, his son David, and his fiancé Toni Dugack, and twelve grandchildren: Currisa, Kyle, Tyler, Linsea, Nicholas, Casea, Ryan, Mason, Aydan, Brandan, Lusea, and Jordan, and one great grandchild, Amber. He is survived by a single living sibling, Doris, and several nieces and nephews throughout the country. Edward is preceded by and reunited with his oldest son, Edward Raymond, who he lost to sudden illness in 1985.
Family and friends are welcome to come to Edward's funeral service at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11 AM. His family will receive guests from 10-10:50 AM. Burial will follow the service at the George Washington Memorial Park.
