She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Gerald Thatcher; her parents, Edmund Smith and Elizabeth S. Smith (Stover); and her siblings, Herbert Smith, Chester Smith and Gladys Rush.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen Schade of Richlandtown and Barbara Poust of Homosassa, Florida.; her grandchildren, Mark Sokol, Mandy Sokol, Jonathan Poust and Anthony Poust; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Robert, Amelia and Austin.
