With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph M. McCafferty (Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCafferty and Rita McCafferty. He is survived by: his wife Carol N. McCafferty (Hartman); his daughter Katherine Hutchinson (Daniel); his brothers, Robert (Ann) and James McCafferty (Ceily); and his grandsons, Joseph, Vincent and Jaxon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shelly Funeral Home (5930 Easton Rd, Pipersville, PA 18947). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
