He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Otto and Genevieve McLucus Otto; and his half-brother Paul Miller. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Unverdorben of Pleasantville; his children, Jamie Otto of Pleasantville, Jessica Rex (Luke) of Titusville and Michael Allen (Tonya) of Pleasantville; his grandchildren, Brooke, Bryce, Brock Rex and Richie Allen; and his half-siblings, Mary Lou Custodio (Will) of California, Carol Southwick of Arizona and Gary E. Otto (Deborah Crocker) of Titusville. He is also survived by three step-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
