He is survived by: his parent Anna Mae Mook Spence; his wife Mary of Pleasantville; his children, Randall Spence (Jill) of Titusville, Julie Safin (Frank) of Salem, NJ and Catherine Kirk (Duane) of Blooming Valley; his grandchildren, Kerrie Phetteplace (John) of Knoxville, TN, Elizabeth Sater (Jason) of Boulder, CO, John Carl Wyant (Katie) of Pittsburgh, Brynna Manuel (Tyler) of Oil City, Katie Chastain (Andrew) of Pennsville, NJ, Michael Safin of New Jersey, Mark Kirk (Christine) of Laramie, WY, Scott Kirk of Telluride, CO and Laura Kirk of Indiana, PA; his great grandchildren, Keegan Phetteplace, Ellienna Manuel, Charlotte Manuel, Evan, Owen and Amy Kirk; his sister Helen Wolf (David) of Albany, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Bevier of Neilltown and Anna Spence of Pleasantville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
