She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles L. Shields and Anna Johnston Shields; her spouse Ora L. Metzgar; her son Dale Metzgar; her son-in-law John Wright; her great grandchild Michael Peterson; and her siblings, Mary Drybread, Bill Witherington and Betty.

She is survived by : her children, Dan Metzgar (Wanda) of Wrightsville, PA, Connie Wright of Pleasantville, Nancy Masiker of Titusville and Betty McKlveen (William) of Pleasantville. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren: 21 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Pleasantville Vol. Fire Dept. 157 W State St, Pleasantville, PA 16341 or to a charity of one's choice.
