She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Brinkman; her children, Richard Higgins (Helen) and Terri Golacinski (Paul); her grandchildren, David Ross, Tanya Heinrich (Derek), Jacob Golacinski, Cody Golacinski, Brody Kyle and Hannah Higgins; her great grandchildren, Gage Mikulan and Austin Heinrich; her siblings, Sandy Swank and Patty Brittner; and her friend Marlene. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
