He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Samide and Rosi Samide (Hogler); his wife Clara Marion Samide (Bosmay); and his siblings, Mary Born, Rose Enos, Kathryn Sigmund, Henry and John Samide.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff L. Samide (Norma) and Gary J. Samide (Terri); his grandchildren, Sara Waszo (Chad), Adam Samide (Kristine) and Rosie Samide; and his great grandchildren, Cash, Canaan Waszo, Tyler and Lincoln Samide. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
