He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Hines and Bernice C. Hines (Stoffell); and his siblings, Helen Richardson, Hazel Palmer, Georgia Taylor and Philip M. Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella L.'Sally' Hines (Rudy); his sons, Gary R. Hines (Cheryl) of Greensburg and Gregory L. Hines (Joanne) of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Timothy Hines (Sarah), Julie Thornberry (Drew) and Stacey Porath (Kevin); his stepgrandson Wade Hoke, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Vida, Taimen Hines, Charlotte and Landon Porath; and his stepgreat-grandson Bryce Hoke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc. (2072 PA-130, Pleasant Unity, PA 15676-0504). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home - Pleasant Unity (2072 PA-130, Pleasant Unity, PA 15676-0504).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pleasant Unity Vol.
