Beatrice Gettemy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Gettemy of Pleasant Unity, Pennsylvania, born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Dudley and Isabelle Dudley (McAteer); her husband Robert S. Gettemy Jr.; her sons, Robert Russell Gettemy (Beverly) of Unity Township and Lawrence Allen Gettemy; and her siblings, Charles, Donald Dudley, Betty Beveridge, Helen Gamble, Marie Kerrigan, Grace Shrum, Dolores Palmer and Peggy Hemminger.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Jean Gettemy (Patty) of Hagerstown, Kenneth A. Gettemy (Mary Kay) of Unity Township, Beverly Ann Lenhart (Roger) of Ligonier and Steven B. Gettemy (Sherry) of Unity Township; her grandchildren, Matthew Gettemy (Alida), Christine Lesser (Andrew), Katie Copelli (Jesse), Ashley Gettemy (Shawn), Shannon Gettemy (Eric) and Riley Lenhart (Nick); her great grandchildren, Luke, Anna, Kaylee, Rian, McKenna and Claire; and her siblings, Jesse Dudley of Derry, Marian Stockberger of Unity Township, Linda Houston of Armbrust and Joyce Dudley of Oklahoma. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
