She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Cookson Sr.; and her children, Alfred Jr., David, Robert, Charles, Edwin and Mary Gorel.
She is survived by: her daughter Lois Zeshonski (John) of Columbus, N. J; and her siblings, Adam Snigar, Charles Snigar and Sophie Prebish. She is also survived by grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
