He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sumner Bailey and Louella Mae Bailey (Giles); and his brothers, Bruce and Duane. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Denise (Steve Metzgar), Bruce, Mary Ann (Raymond Rutledge), Joani, Charyn (Dan Jones), Paige, Sydney, Cade Rutledge, Ryan, Codie Bailey, Tyler and Hunter Jones; his siblings, Frank Bailey and Dorothy Hankinson; and also, Christopher, Aaron and Caroline Metzgar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Pleasant Mt. United Methodist Church, Wayne County 4-H Jr.
