He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin F. Barhite and May M. Barhite (Rosemier); his siblings, Eleanor White, Shirley Barrows and Martin P. Barhite; and his son Thomas Barhite.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughter Dawn Van Der Stad (Gary) of Newville, PA; his grandchildren, Ashley Burns (Richard), Aaron Van Der Stad and Justine Van Der Stad; and his great grandchildren, Mickey Thomas Burns, Abel Mills, Addison Mills and Aiden Mills. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howell Family Funeral Home (269 Belmont St, Waymart, PA 18472). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Indian Orchard Cemetery (988 Texas Palmyra Hwy, Honesdale, PA 18431).
