It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward C. Erdmann of Pleasant Mount, Pennsylvania, born in Hackensack, New Jersey, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris Scholland Erdmann; his wife Jane Mandel Erdmann; his parents, Charles Edward and Katherine Elizabeth Erdmann (Bacik); his sister Katerine Kettig; his son Scott Allen Erdmann; his grandson Mark Erdmann Jr.; and his stepson Charles Bartgis.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Erdmann (Terri) of Browndale, Kathy Elizabeth Erdmann of Carbondale, Debra Curley (Rulief) of Pleasant Mount and Leeanna Erdmann of East Hampton, NY; his stepdaughters, Barbara Gallagher and Carol Hazen; and his daughter-in-law Sarah Bartgis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to any of the following organizations in his memory, Pleasant Mount American Legion #964, Pleasant Mount Fire Dept., Pleasant Mount Ambulance or the Pleasant Mount United Methodist Church.
