He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Chojnowski and Mary Chojnowski; his wife Frances "Fran" Chojnowski (Fodera); and his mother-in-law Emma Fodera. He is survived by: his children, Gina, Thomas and Michael Chojnowski; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Skidmore (Robert), Rosie Mills (Gerald), Mark, Matt Mills, Robert J. Skidmore (Janice), Rocky Skidmore (Ann), Tony Mills (Leanne), Michelle Mills and Andy Mills (Tina).
