He is survived by: his wife Margaret Archbald (McGarrity); his sons, Robert W. Archbald, III of Old Lyme and Andrew S. L. Archbald of North Chesterfield, Virginia; his stepdaughter Alison Muller of Elkton, Maryland; his grandchildren, Annalisa, Baily, Nora, Riley, Aubrey, Helana, Owen and Olivia Muller; and his sisters, Elizabeth Cardone and Carolyn Mark Crunkleton.
