She was predeceased by: her spouse Verner C. "Buck" Jones; her siblings, Virginia Smith (Wilbur), Robert Cowden, Wayne Cowden (Jean), Ernest Cowden (Birdie) and Paul Cowden (Patricia); her brother-in-law Robert Masteller; and her parents, R. Thompson Cowden and Mina E. Cowden (Rumbaugh).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Schaefer (Scott), David Jones (Carol) and Kathleen Consoli (Jim); her grandchildren, Delaney, Colby Welsh, Lauren, Erica, Andrew, Steven Jones, Jen and Gina Consoli; her sister Florence Masteller (Cowden); and her sister-in-law Lois Cowden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Baptist Homes Foundation.
