He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hartos and Emily Blaho Hartos; and his sister Ruth Sabo. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Herring Hartos; his children, Douglas Hartos (Kathleen) of Bethel Park, Linda McCartney (Tim) of Pleasant Hills and Joseph Hartos (Nikki) of Pleasant Lake, Michigan; and his grandsons, Jeffrey Hartos of Bethel Park, Nathaniel Hartos of Bethel Park, Patrick McCartney of Dravosburg and Alex McCartney of Davosburg.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice John's family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, PA.
