He was predeceased by: his daughter Joan Kathleen Gibson; and his parents, John Gibson and Mary Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his son Jack Gibson III (Sue); his grandsons, John B. Gibson IV (Alexa) and Justin Ray Gibson; and his great grandchildren, Sofia and Natalia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society in memory of his daughter, Joanie.
