He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Lewis and Sarah E. Lewis (Grimes). He is survived by: his wife Judy Lewis (Grotefend); his children, Robin Haines (Paul) of Indiana, PA and J. C. Lewis (Karen) of Raleigh, NC; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Casey Haines, Callie Jellots, Koutnaye and Haley Lewis. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.
