It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Johnson of Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sr. Nilson and Lottie Nilson (Cribbs); her former husband Russell Tibbens; her husband Nevin Johnson; her sons, Kevin E. Tibbens and John Tibbens; and her siblings, Mary, Lottie Dolly, Arthur Jr., Merle, Paul, David, Russell, Harry, Ken and Melvin.
She is survived by: her children, Mary C. Bressler (Roger) of Spring Mills and Charles R. Tibbens (Lisa) of Avis; her grandchildren, Brianna, Kenton, Nicholas, Bryan, Stacey, Brandon, Bradley and Marissa; and her siblings, Donald Nilson, Helen Steiger, Virginia Anthony and Juanita Haines. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
