With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Nelson Nestor of Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amasa Nestor and Hattie Nestor (Williams); and his siblings, Dolores Sanders, Gerald Nestor, Homer Nestor, Edna Selders, Alva Nestor, Leota Shaffer, Lora Nestor and Willis Williams.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Steve Landau (Melissa) of Sunbury, Julie Landau of Shamokin, Michael Doty of Bellefonte, Caitlin Brown (Geoff) of Indianapolis, IN, Brian Nestor of Lamar, Sara Nestor of Lewisburg and Kristi Griffin (Ethan); his great grandchildren, Evangeline, Morgan, Rowan Landau, Lily Brown, Everleigh Nestor, Lincoln, Makinli and Ellington Griffin; his wife Betty Dixon; his stepchildren, Debbie Romig (Rodney) of Bellefonte and Daniel Dixon (Karen) of Spring Mills; his stepgrandchildren, Steve Shehan (Tina) of Mechanicsburg, Julie Evey (Justin) of Lamar, Nicole Shunk (Corby) of Centre Hall, Shannon Arney (Nate) of Centre Hall and Emily Neidigh (Derek) of Spring Mills; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyle, Maura Shehan, Preston, Emma, Sulley Evey, Baylor, Colton Shunk, Riley Arney, Gavin and Karli Neidigh; his sister Darlene Swaim of Culpeper, VA; his stepsisters, Shirley Dively (Bob) of State College and Joy Foster (Don) of West Decatur; and his brother-in-law Ralph McClarren (Jean) of West Decatur. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, & many nieces & nephews.
