John T. Balasavage Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John T. Balasavage (Plains Township, Pennsylvania), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 12, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles and Mary Balasavage (Parulis); his wife Joan Stuchkus; his children, Heather Mantush (Donald) and Timothy Balasavage (Pat); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Natalie Mantush and Evie Balasavage; and his brother Charles Balasavage (Mary Lou Wilkes). He was also cherished by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
John trained at Rock Steady Boxing in Old Forge, an exercise program for people with Parkinson's Disease, where he used the boxing name of "Johnny B. The Mad Lithuanian".
