It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Giomboni of Plains Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Giomboni and Mary Giomboni (Johnson); his son Jarrod Giomboni; his brother Louis Giomboni; and his brother-in-law John Gonda, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gonda; his son John Giomboni (Melissa); his grandchildren, Chase and Liliana Giomboni; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Giomboni, Dolores Letteer, Joan Fino, Sophie Pelak and Janice Pierce (James); and his close friend Will. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Due to the current global pandemic, Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, Pennsylvania 18705.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to The SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 in Jack's memory.
