She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Melnyk and Paraska Melnyk (Popadiuk) of Plains; and her siblings, Walter, Joseph, William, Ann Wrobel, Mary Chesterfield, Margaret Babak, Sophia Melnyk, George Melnyk of Endicott, Alice Zaley of Wilkes-Barre and Irene Melnyk of Plains. She was also cherished by 17 nieces and nephews.
