He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Slabacheski and Frances Slabacheski (Popko); his wife Helen Kantorek; his daughter Barbara Ann Mrozinski; and his siblings, Peter Slabacheski, Walter Slabacheski and Theresa Slabacheski.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Bidwell (Michael); his grandchildren, Kimberly Keating (Donald), Kristen Bidwell, Kevin Bidwell, Marie and Matthew Mrozinski; and his siblings, Jean Riccetti and Anthony Slabacheski (Liz). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
