It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon A. Higgins of Plainfield, Pennsylvania, born in Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Heckman and Elizabeth Heckman (Sarson); and her siblings, Cindy Luckey and Rick Heckman (Sarah) of Whitehall. She is survived by: her husband Donald Higgins; her children, Richard Gromes (Tara) of Stroudsburg and Melanie Maldonado (Mario) of Bushkill; and her siblings, Sandra Hunara (William) of Easton, Candy Stefano of Pen Argyl and Randy Heckman of Riegelsville. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon's name to Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 568 Wind Gap, PA 18091.
