He is survived by: his spouse Anna E. Sebring; and his children, Laurence A. Bowers, Jr., David Bruce Bowers, Sr., Sandra Snyder and Juanita Hoogerhyde. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; 26 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
