She was predeceased by: her husband Marlen; and her sister Ruth Forsythe. She is survived by: her children, Janice L. Melmed and Craig M. Werkheiser (Michele); her grandsons, Gabriel Melmed and Garvey Melmed (Sarah); and her pet Rocky.
