She is survived by: her sons, Laredo "Larry" Ackerson and Merritt Ackerson; her grandchildren, Erica, Kasey and Tyler; and her sisters, Kathryn Pinto and Helen Kessler (Thomas). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
