He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Rissmiller and Jennie Rissmiller (Kessler); and his siblings, Joyce Houck, Charlotte Berger and Wayne Rissmiller.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Rissmiller (Hughes); his children, Charly Rissmiller (Karen), Laura Kataoka (Bob), Gary Rissmiller (Melissa), Christy Hendershot (Matt Diomedo) and William Hendershot (Lori); his siblings, Helen Frack, Terry Rissmiller and Clark Rissmiller; and his grandchildren, Shayna Keith, Andrea Broaddus, Kylie Rissmiller, Andrew, Shane and Daniel Black. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
