He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Virginia Scherer (Ginger). He is survived by: his brother Bernard Piontek (Karen) of Duryea; his nieces, Marlene Jordan (Jamie) of Cary, Michelle Piontek of Duryea, Marissa Pilchesky of Ransom Township and Mary Lynn Musial (Mike) of Larksville; and his great-nieces, Jessica, Kate Jordan, Abby, Julia, Lauren Pilchesky Companion and Ann Zongilla of Duryea.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc. (204 Main St, Duryea, PA 18642). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Parish (127 Stephenson St, Duryea, PA 18642).
