She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Savokinas and Madeline Savokinas (Fey); her husband Jasper Butera; and her siblings, Larry (Mike Savokinas), Marybeth Ostrowski and Nancy Savokinas.
She is survived by: her sons, Leonard and Joseph Butera; and her siblings, Joseph Savokinas, Jimmy Savokinas (Diane), Raymond Savokinas (Marie), Dorothy Kroll (Robert) and Cynthia Hrobuchak (Bill). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Graziano Funeral Home Inc. (700 S Township Blvd, Pittston, PA 18640). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Marello Parish (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church) (237 William St, Pittston, PA 18640).
