It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Catherine Egan of Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Catherine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Catherine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Egan and Margaret Egan; and her nephew Brian Musto. She is survived by: her brother Jack; her sister-in-law Joan Egan; her niece Alice Musto (Gerard Musto); her caregivers, Randi and Crystal; and also Max.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish (535 N Main St, Pittston, PA 18640). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
