Mary Alice Mazzarella Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Alice Mazzarella (Pittston, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Heston and Ida Vitale Heston; her husband Andrew; and her brother Joseph J. Heston. She is survived by: her sons, Andrew J. Mazzarella (Sally) of York, PA and Joseph Mazzarella (Tiziana) of Pittston; her grandchildren, Andi Nicole Mazzarella, Ty Mazzarella, Dr. Alexia Mazzarella and Bianca Mazzarella; her sisters, JoAnn DeRose and Lois Fastiggi (Michael); and her caregivers, Debbie and Patrice.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adonizio Funeral Home (251 William St, Pittston, PA 18640). A rosary was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Church. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Parish (42 Redwood Dr, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702).
