She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominick R. Alaimo and Gatana "Tillie" Alaimo; and her brother Charles. She is survived by: her husband Michael P. Hoover; her children, Carole Marie Tompkins of Pittston and Michael D. Hoover of Hanover; her brother Francisco Dominick "Blackie" Alaimo (Betty); and her grandson Donnie (Amanda). She is also survived by five grandchildren.
In her final stages of Alzheimer's, she lost her final fight with Covid.
