She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Gardner; her parents, James Tonte and Grace Yanzita Tonte; and her siblings, Ralph, George, Nick, John, Vince Tonte, Tillie Wrubel and Jennie Potorski.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila, Lisa Gardner, Joann Mayers (David) and Robert Gardner (Roben); her grandchildren, Samantha Mayers (Ryan Hannon), Nicole and Matthew Mayers; and her siblings, Peter Tonte and Louise Durkin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
