James Vincent Chimento Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2022, at the age of 100, James Vincent Chimento of Pittston, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chiumento and Mary Martino Chiumento; his wife Julia LoBrutto Chimento; and his siblings, John, Ronald, Anthony, Grace Butler, Ida Brogna, Josephine Fabrizio and Mary Alt.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Marranca (Jody), John Chimento (Judy), Yatesville, Charles Chimento, Lucille Chimento and Juliann Emmett (Ralph); and his grandchildren, Christina Hughes (Gary), Jamie Chimento, Elizabeth Dessoye (Joseph), Joseph Marranca (Sheyla), Julia Marranca of Vincenzo Chimento, R. J., James and Julia Emmett. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dupont VFW or to Oblates of St. Joseph, Pittston.
