With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James P. Curtin of Pittston, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Curtin and Josephine Curtin (Gantert); and his siblings, Rev. Joseph Curtin, William Curtin, Theodore Curtin and Margaret McDevitt.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Theresa Curtin (Madden); his daughters, Kelly Harrington (Eugene) of Ellicott City, MD, Colleen Petroski (Michael), Kingston and Mary Saha (Pranav) of Baltimore, MD; his grandsons, Logan and Quinn Harrington; his brother Lawrence Curtin (Lynn) of Reading, PA; and his sister-in-law Joanne Curtin of Westminster, MA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
