He is survived by: his wife Catherine Koscelansky Nicholson; his children, Ernest and Mary Oravitz (Michael); his grandchildren, Eric Nicholson, Erin Nicholson and Kaithlyn Kuharchik (Walter, III); and his great grandchildren, Sumner Kuharchik and Walter Kuharchik, IV.
