He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gawelko and Wanda Czereck Gawelko; and his stepfather John Kosmac. He is survived by: his wife Brigitte Kuss Gawelko; his children, Kristina Rossi (Joseph) and Edward Gawelko, Jr. (Denise); his grandchildren, Joseph Rossi (Kristen), Ryan Rossi, Alexis Gawelko and Kenneth Gawelko; his great grandchild Bryson Rossi; and his brother Robert Gawelko (Maryann). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
