With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles James Shannon of Pittston, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shannon and Ethel Shannon; his son Mark; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his children, Carol, Charles, Patrick, Michelle and Lisa; and his siblings, Amos, David, Ethel Mae, Frank and Richard. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
