He is survived by: his wife Elaine Porzucek Purta; his daughters, Charlene Bigelow (Mark) and Cheryl Gilvary (Patrick); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua and Alexandra Bigelow; and his sister Helen Bulford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
