He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mulhern and Anna McHale Mulhern; his wife Angela Agliata Mulhern; and his siblings, Thomas Mulhern and Ann Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Christine DiPippo (Greg), Tracie Delay (Jason) and Brian C. Mulhern (Gigi); his grandchildren, Gregory, Nicholas, Gianna DiPippo, Ella, Ethan, Brady Delay, Brelynn, Dylan, Chase and Gavin Mulhern; and his siblings, Ellen Sickler, Linda Smith, Mary Miller (Harry Radle), Dupont and Daniel Mulhern (Lynne) of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
