Thompson of Pittston, Pennsylvania, born in Duryea, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thompson and Isabel Kaminski Thompson; and his daughter Denise Frantz. He is survived by: his wife Carole Laymon Thompson; his children, Joseph Thompson (Karen) of Duryea, Kimberly Cardamone (Vince) of Scranton and AJ Thompson (Kelly) of Spring City, PA.; his grandchildren, Maggie, Jace and Mairin Thompson; and his siblings, Earl Thompson (Sharon) of Duryea, Bart Kaminski (Diane) of Annville and Marilou Fereck (Michael) of Duryea. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
