He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Gusinski; and his siblings, William, Ann Marie Pesarchick and Loretta Luder. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Fathel of Wapwallopen, James Nayavich (Susan) of Harveys Lake and Jeff Nayavich (Mark Lasky) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Siobhan, Gabrielle, Rob and Dylan; and his siblings, Joseph Nayavich (Patricia) of Dupont and Mary Jane Margavage of Duryea.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice, 672 North River Street Ste 301, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18704.
