He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Walton and Margaret Beane Walton; his son Wayne A. Walton Jr.; his brother Rick Walton; and his pet Abbey.
He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Samuel Bowers and Harriet; his wife Stella Bowers Walton; and his sister Lavina Lundberg of Warren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
