He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. Cogar and Wilcie Blye Cogar. He is survived by: his wife Isabel J. Swanson; his children, Bernard Paul Cogar of Lafayette and Jennifer Woodard of Geneva, Ohio; and his grandson Michael Woodard. He is also survived by his 4 siblings and several nieces and nephews.
